“Let’s Grow Tennis” Community Grant Program
The Tennis Austin “Let’s Grow Tennis” Community Grant exists to empower your vision for growing local tennis. Whether you are launching a new initiative, expanding an existing program, hosting an event, or updating facilities, this grant is designed to support the leaders, organizers, and players who make the Central Texas tennis community thrive.
Our collective mission is simple: Growing tennis to build healthier, more connected communities.
Geographic Focus & Eligibility
Tennis Austin belongs to the community it serves. While our core focus is within approximately 50 miles of Austin, where local players, families, and facilities directly build the daily ecosystem, we know great ideas don’t stop at arbitrary borders.
- Core Area: Programs and facilities within ~50 miles of Austin.
- Youth Initiatives: Youth-focused programs within approximately 100 miles of Austin may be considered if they directly expand tennis access or connect players to the broader Central Texas tennis community.
Operating outside this region? We encourage you to explore funding and resource opportunities through USTA Texas, which supports local tennis communities across the entire state.
Grant Overview & Eligible Expenses
Tennis Austin aims to lower barriers and put resources directly into your hands so you can make a tangible impact.
- Total 2026 Community Funding: $35,000
- Individual Awards: Up to $2,500
- Who Can Apply: Any entity or individual based in Central Texas actively working to grow local tennis participation.
What Funds Can Be Used For (for example):
- Program Operations: Equipment, court rental, facility upkeep, and maintenance.
- Coaching & Staffing: Instructor or coach fees, plus travel related to program delivery.
- Community Outreach: Marketing, digital advertising, and promotional materials.
Community Partnership Requirements
Because this organization is built by and for the community, receiving a grant is a shared partnership:
- Share the Story: Acknowledge Tennis Austin as a supporting partner by including the Tennis Austin logo and messaging on your website, social media, emails, or event materials.
- Celebrate Your Impact: Submit a quick post-program summary highlighting your event dates, participant experiences, turnout numbers, and key success stories so we can celebrate your work with the broader community.
