2026 Fall Junior Team Tennis Season
Scoring Format for Advancing League: Singles and Doubles will play best of two short sets to 4, with a 7-point match tiebreak at one set all. No ad scoring.
There will be NO tiebreaker played during the first or second set. At 3-3, the winner of the next game wins the set (4-3). Scoring of 5-3 in a set is not allowed. The only tiebreaker that may be played will be for the 3rd set. The tiebreaker is a 7-point match tiebreak, not a Coman tiebreaker.
2026 Fall Season Timeline:
- Monday, August 10 – TennisLink for 2026 Fall Season opens and coaches can create teams.
- Wednesday, August 12 – All coaches must have completed the form indicating your Fall teams, blackout dates and Sunday match times.
- Sunday, August 23 – All Advancing League teams must be created in TennisLink. Teams must be entered into Tennis Link in order to participate in the Fall Season.
- Wednesday, September 2, 12:00 – 1:30pm – MANDATORY JTT Coaches Meeting at North Lamar Rudy’s! Lunch provided (vegetarian and vegan options provided).
- Wednesday, September 2 – All JTT Coaches must be SafePlay certified for Fall Season.
- Friday, September 4 – Fall Season schedules released for Advancing League.
- Sunday, September 6 – Coaches due date for rosters in the Advancing League. All players must be registered within TennisLink.
- Monday, September 7 – All Non advancing League teams must be created in TennisLink. Teams must be entered into Tennis Link in order to participate in the Fall Season.
- Friday, September 11 – Coaches due date for rosters for Non-Advancing League 10s Orange. All teams and players must be entered into TennisLink.
- Sunday, September 13 – First Match for Advancing League
- Wednesday, September 16 – Fall Season schedules released for Non- Advancing League 10s Orange.
- Saturday, September 19 – First JTT Red Ball Educational Day
- Sunday, September 27 – First Match for Non-Advancing League 10s Orange.
- Sunday-Monday, October 11-12 – JTT Media/Photo Day and league t-shirt distribution day.
- Saturday, October 17 – Second JTT Red Ball Educational Day
- Tuesday, October 20 – Fall Season registration closes on TennisLink. Players can no longer be added to your roster.
- Saturday, October 31– Fall Red Ball City Championships
- Sunday, November 15 – Last Match for Advancing & Non-Advancing League (this date may be used as a Rain Date).
- Monday, November 16 – Registration deadline for JTT Fall Sectionals.
- Saturday, December 5 – Sunday, December 6 – JTT Fall Sectionals held at Newk’s in New Braunfels.
- Monday, December 7 – Age cut-off for fall league participants.
Weekly Process:
- Exchange match information with your opposing coach by Tuesday.
- Communication is key. Confirm number of players, site, time, etc.
- Touch base with your opposing coach by Friday to finalize details.
- Before the match begins exchange Match Cards or Line Ups with opposing coach
- Once this is exchanged, your lineup cannot be changed.
- All players in your lineup must be eligible to play.
- Match winners are responsible for entering scores into TennisLink by Monday.
- Tennis Austin will be checking for this on Tuesdays.
